Since President Li Quan founded the Department of Mass Communication in 1980, Ming Chuan University has gone through the Department of Communication to today's School of Communication. It adheres to the concept of "integrated communication", pursues the educational spirit of "dialogue between humanities and technology", and cultivates both theory and practice. We also pay equal attention to communication professionals with an international perspective, pursuing academic excellence in the Industrialization of Communication Knowledge and the Inculcation of Communication Knowledge into Industry. At present, there are four main departments, including the Department of New Media and Communication Management (including master's courses), the Department of Journalism, the Department of Radio and Television, and the Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing, and a special program which is the Department of Mass Communication of Overseas Youth Vocational Training Class.
